1. Services
dispatch-fm provides truck dispatch services: load matching, rate negotiation support, and dispatch coordination for carriers operating box trucks, reefers, flatbeds, hot shots, and dry vans in the United States.
2. Fees
For carriers operating under their own MC authority, our dispatch fee starts at 5% of the gross load value per load. The exact percentage depends on factors including equipment type, lanes, and load volume, and is agreed with you before dispatch begins. There are no monthly fees or long-term contracts. The first week of service is free. You only pay for loads you run.
For carriers leasing their equipment onto the dispatch-fm operating authority, a lease fee of 15% of the gross load value applies. That fee covers use of our authority, the commercial liability and cargo insurance required to operate under it, and the carrier's factoring fee. The lease fee is in addition to, and not in place of, the dispatch fee described above, which for lease-on carriers starts at 5% of the gross load value and is set by equipment type and fleet size. Both rates are quoted in writing before dispatch begins. The carrier remains responsible for physical damage coverage on their own equipment, fuel, maintenance, and any occupational accident or health coverage, and invoicing is processed through our factoring arrangement. Lease-on arrangements require a separate written lease agreement executed before dispatch begins; that agreement governs in the event of any conflict with these terms.
3. Payments
dispatch-fm does not process carrier payments. Carriers are paid directly by brokers or shippers under the terms of each load agreement. Optional quick pay factoring is available through third-party partners; their terms apply.
4. Carrier responsibilities
- Maintain valid operating authority (MC/DOT), insurance, and compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform accepted loads professionally and communicate delays promptly.
- Provide accurate information during onboarding.
5. MC assistance disclaimer
Our MC assistance and compliance support consists of general guidance only and is not legal advice. For legal matters, consult a licensed attorney.
6. Termination
Either party may end the relationship at any time without penalty. Fees for loads already dispatched remain payable.
7. Limitation of liability
dispatch-fm acts as a dispatch service, not a broker, shipper, or carrier. We are not a party to load agreements and are not liable for broker or shipper payment defaults, cargo claims, or losses arising from load performance, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
